About Me
Welcome to my world! As you can tell from my blog title I teach in a K-12 independent school. To be more specific, I am currently teaching 3rd grade at North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka, IL. I love it here.
I began this blog as a way to connect with other teachers globally and begin conversations. I am somewhat new to Web 2.0 but I am learning as quickly as I can.
Besides teaching I also am a mother of boy/girl twins, step-mother of high school girls, and wife of the best husband on the planet (Ok – so I’m biased!) I also have two crazy dogs and several assorted fish. My son is autistic which I believe gives me a unique perspective as a parent and as a teacher. Stay tuned for future blog posts about him.
